Press Release - For the first time in its History, Missiontrek Offers Cartagio's full-featured Enterprise Version for Free
Dallas, TX - Online collaboration innovator, Missiontrek Ltd. Co. is, for a limited time, offering registration of its flagship Cartagio™ product for free.
Missiontrek’s Cartagio™ Enterprise is currently available for free download and registration, to honor the company’s founding CTO, John Douglass, who died suddenly of a heart attack last year, as well as to celebrate the company’s success and increase the software’s installed base prior to the launch of it’s next version. “Version 1.4 will have many new features that they believe will attract new sales from among those who would not otherwise pay our regular $375 per license price” said Nathan Martyn, the new CTO of Missiontrek.
“We hope that those who now can benefit from our software will take a moment to thank John Douglass, the Missiontrek founder who helped make this all possible” said John Moetteli, Missiontrek’s director.
When asked how offering software that others have paid so dearly for in the past for free would affect existing customer relations, Moetteli scrugged, “we appreciate our clients’ investment in our company, and have made arrangements with them to ensure that they’ll be in no worse position for having invested—they will for example, continue to receive free support”.
Missiontrek intends to offer a new Cartagio product, early in 2007, with additional features such as a blog-generator, RSS news feeds, and more. “We believe that next year will be the beginning of world-wide use of online research organization and collaboration software—Missiontrek is in a great position to promote and to benefit from this new way of dealing with the web”.
